Hyperspace is undoubtedly faster than slipspace( it takes WEEKS for the pillar of autumn to get from reach to delta halo, and let's not forget that halo takes place in a small arm of the milky way galaxy. Not only does the ISD stomp in firepower, but also in FTL and complements. And also considering that just a regular ISD has an energy output of a SMALL STAR! That's even stronger than the Super MACs mounted on ODPs! I'd think even just ONE or TWO shots will be enough to seriously do some damage to the battlecruiser. Turbolasers are 1000s of times stronger than the standard plasma torpedo, at 200 GIGATONS PER SHOT.
